Making Tomato Soup At Tech!

Today Group A created Tomato Soup with Mrs Tuipulotu at Tech. The ingredients we used were one can of tomatoes, flour and water. I worked with Laki and he's from St Pius.

 We had to first wash our pot then tip the chopped tomatoes in. Following that, we had to put the pot on the stove and let it boil. Next, when it was ready we had to taste it and if it wasn't ready we had to add some brown sugar.

After we finished with that we had to stir and put it back on the stove, but Mrs Tuipulotu said "Once the first bubble pops you have to remove the pot from the element and put it on the side of the sink".

Lastly we had to get some bowls from the back room and then go to Mrs Tuipulotu. We gave our bowls to her and she put some rice into the bowl and then, we had to add the Tomato Soup.

Finally we were done and Mrs Tuipulotu took some photos and then we had to taste. We only had a couple of minutes to eat then wash the dishes. When we were finished washing the dishes we had to get our netbooks and start making a blog. Then the second period was over so we had to pack and go back to the bus.

Guess What IT Is?

He acts like a boss to all his other kinds, he also has a weird habit of eating humans. He likes to dance and he likes to scare, he lives in a house at the end of the street and also jumps very high. When he's angry he grows even more and gains more strength, but what he likes most is to shape shift.

He looks so creepy and shows up when he's hungry, the only time you'll ever see him is when he wakes from his 7 years sleep. He will kill who ever he wants and will shape shift into anything that will tract his prey down. He creepy teeth and and has two different rows, but he only brings out his second row when he's about to eat. He has orange/brownish hair and very yellow eyes, but is very good at making people cry. He looks as if he was born from hell but was born in the sewers, he lives in the house that has another house that is surrounded with dolls and with a yellow jacket. He looks like a dad, green mantis, a little brother and lucky last a zombie. He is very ugly and for some people cool . Heya Georgia, wanna balloon. POP POP POP POP POP POP POP POP!!!

Since I have achieved my goals last term I had to get some more new ones so. Today I'm going to present my new goals plus one more extra.

Achieving my goals was like another goal I had to achieve but the hardest one of all. I have only achieved 4 out of 5. These are my goals I have achieved and one I have not.

Farewell Wishes For Dominic

Yesterday one of the students left this school. We all had a great time with you Dominic Lolohea, we will all miss you Dominic.

Term 1 2017 Learning Goals

 On week two of school we had to write our personal goals to improve we could achieve them.First we had to write it in our general book or piece of paper if you don't have your stationary.We had to write down our goals in our book and then we copy it into our Chromebooks.

Botanical Gardens

When I woke up I went to the bathroom had a shower, brushed my tooth that fell out of my mouth and my teeth. Then i went back to my room and got dressed. When i was done getting dressed I had my breakfast. Then I had to dress my little brother up and put his shoes on. Then when I was done putting his shoes on I walked to school. When I knocked on the door the teacher opened the door and took my little brother then I left.

When I got to school I had to put my bag on my chair and said good morning to the teacher (Mrs Buchanan). Then I went outside and played baddies and goodies. When the goodies were about to catch the baddies the bell rang. When the bell rang we all ran towards class. Then when we went and asked our teacher if we had fitness then she said no. The reason she said no was because we were leaving soon. Then right after that we had to get our milk and morning tea and eat it. When we were done eating we had to get in a line and go up to the junior court. When we were up there the principal was talking to us(Mrs Vickers).

Then later we got sent to the bus and we went to the bus three. In bus three we had room 12 and room 6. When the bus started to leave I was pretending I was driving the bus. When we took the eighth turn I finally noticed we were in Sylvia Park. Then we turned on to the motorway, I was happy because the motorway is when I could go highspeed. Just a few minutes after passing the tip top factory my teacher asked me how much minutes are left and i said  there are 24 minutes left. Then my teacher asked Katrina(friend)and she said ‘’I don’t know miss’’. Then after 10 minutes we turned off the motorway and turned right going down. Then we turned left and went straight for like another 10 minutes until we took another turn. We only needed one more turn until we were there, when we took the last turn we went under a tunnel made by pink flowers…..

When we got off the bus we had to wait for the other classes to go. Then after the classes went to the front we then went. We went pass the other classes and went to the court yard. At the courtyard we got split up into groups of ten. In the group of ten we had to split up in groups of five in the groups of ten. In every group of five had one tablet and camera. Then I had Mrs Hoeberigs(reliever)and students from the class in my team. Then after we got split up the teachers gave out our paperwork. Then after that we started to leave the courtyard. The first plants we went to was the pohutukawa tree. It was so pretty and soft and it was Mrs Hoeberigs favourite tree. Then after that we had to walk down a pathway, then we turned into a square place of gardens. It was the Edibles gardens with the blossom trees and the brown turkey tree. Then we took some pictures of plants and the apple tree and of other things.

When we left the Edible gardens, we walked down a pathway and stopped to look at something. It was a fountain that looked like that it was made out of bones. The water was dripping onto each piece well it was going down. Everytime it goes down it gets sucked up in this pole to the top of the fountain. After the fountain we went to the place with the flax, it had a spider web sculpture. It looked like it was made out of metal because it was silver and strong. After seeing the web we walked down a rocky pathway and stood near the flax, me and a student called Henry went and asked the teacher if we could touch the flax and she said yes. So me and Henry went and touched the flax. The flax was so soft that I felt like it was a bed to lie on. Then after that we went out of the flax bit and went to the other side of the flax. On the other side there was a long pathway we had to walk down. On the side of the pathway there was groups of trees together in a group and I thought it was a ghost house. Then we saw the roses and there were lots of bright colours on the roses. After the roses we went to another rose place.   

After that we had to leave and come back to school. On the way to the buses we saw a teacher waving at us. When we got to the top of the hill we had to wait for the buses to get back in places. Then we got in and came back to school.

Fireworks!!!!

In the weekend on Saturday, me and my family went to my aunt's house to do fireworks. We went around 2:00pm, we went with my whole family except for my dad because he had to work. When we got to my aunt’s house my uncle was there. It was very boring so slept in the car till night time. When it was night time my brother woke me up and told me it is time to do fireworks. When I got out of the car my uncle's car was gone. Then not long after my uncle pulled up with heaps of fireworks in his car. He had two moon strikes and heaps of roman candles with bad boys and ground fireworks. Then I had to help my uncle carry the fireworks to the back yard, one of the boxes were too heavy so I had to drop and it fell. Then my uncle got angry and yelled at me and then I ended up having to pull the box to the back. Once all of the fireworks were at the back we started lighting the fireworks, we first started off with the cascades and then started lighting anything. The first thing I lit was a roman candle and it was so loud I nearly died and my little brother was crying  because he wanted to hold a roman candle and I still couldn’t hear him. After that I took a roman candle and went to the front to look for a bottle. I snapped the roman candle carefully and tipped it in the bottle and the I wick out and held it. I got the lid for the bottle and poked a hole in it then closed the bottle. After that I put the wick in and lit it I ran all the way back far from the bottle and then……… BOOOOOOM!!!!!! It exploded and I was far enough from it lucky. It sounded like a real bomb. Then when my uncle came to the front he saw the bottle burnt and exploded then he saw me lying on the ground. He told me to “go to the backyard and do fireworks there so I  know you’re safe”. Then I get up and  go to the back and do fireworks there. It was getting tiring doing fireworks and it was getting very late. It was starting to be too late to drive  and when I checked the time it was around 3 or 4. Then we went to sleep.
